Research into distributors

There are a lot of different distributors that can be chosen when a film has been completed. Though this can depend on the type of film that is being made, and its genre. For example, animations may go through different distributors than a thriller film.

One possible distributor would be Universal Pictures. They have distributed films that are similar to ours such as Shaun of the Dead, and would therefore be a good choice for promotion and advertising.

Another distributor that could be chosen is Columbia Pictures. Who have produced films such as Zombieland, which again are similar to ours.

We would want either one of these companies to distribute our film as they have experience with the field of horror/thriller and would be good for promotion through their expertise.
