Individual analysis of a title sequence

The title sequence of a film is very important and can be very different, depending on what the gerne of the film is. One example is an animated opening title sequences like "Juno"

This type of Title sequences show the audience growing up with the character as she is on a journey. it also show the life a normal teenager who life's about to change but the audience is not sure.

Another title sequence is the "The Dawn Dead". This sequences starts right away in the action, as it explains what as happened. It shows shots and pictures of the zombie attacking, where a fictional TV shows explains they do not know anything about the zombie break out. The music takes the audience on the story by telling the story so far.

Title sequences can be used to show the audeince wher the film is being set. For example "Panic Room" at first it shows the distributor, then it shows the credits with the cast and crew while showing diffrent part of New York city, it also shows the title of the film. Also the music adds tension to the film, which telling something about the film may be like.

Drive Angry opening sequences show the audeince that it is a journey. First it shows the companies that that have been in the process of this film being produced, distributed and exhibitied.

After, the title have appeared, a voice over of one of the main characters explaining what is happening and what is about to happen. The audeince knows where the story is set and has a rought idea of what the film and plot is about.
